Layer: HeatFlow (ID: 0)

Name: HeatFlow

Display Field: ObservationName

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPoint

Description: This resource provides heat flow data from recently drilled shallow thermal gradient wells and historic oil and gas exploration wells drilled in southeast Idaho, obtained by the AASG for the Geothermal Data Project. The data table includes general information on the location of the observation, site heat flow, gradient, location uncertainty, related resources and remarks. Citations are included in the dataset. The HeaderURI for a particular borehole is the cross-referencing link (foreign key) used to associate the borehole with web based information on the well construction, pictures or other information, specific to one feature. The data is displayed using a yellow and orange triangle. Metadata for these data layers can be found in the State Geothermal Repository at http://repository.stategeothermaldata.org/repository/resource/eaf12e0c53a4222440a8b343a21e9b7e/.
