The data in this dataset was obtained from the Nevada BLM's geothermal lease sales website (http://www.blm.gov/nv/st/en/prog/minerals/leasable_minerals/geothermal0/ggeothermal_leasing.html), the NV_GeoThermal_Leases2014.gdb geodatabase (http://www.blm.gov/style/medialib/blm/nv/gis/geodatabases.Par.59962.File.dat/NV_Geothermal_Leases_gdb.zip), and BLM's LR2000 data retrieval system. The features were merged, amended, or left alone as needed, and attribute data about the leases was added. |
